a bit of fun

well i have neglected my blog lately , but time just seems to run away with me , in between filling orders and seeing to skye there doesnt seem to be time for much else

anyway i decided this year my two goals for my bear making were to develop smaller patterns and just to have some fun , my first bit of fun is below , and smaller too , so two for the price of one , i have lots of ideas for other animals which i will try to do in between the bears

paws for thought

my mum has had 2 gorgeous chow chows in the past , so i decided many months ago that is what i would try to make her for christmas , having never made a dog before , the pattern had to be done from scratch , after much thought i decided to make it a sitting dog , this involved having a belly gusset , something else id not done before , anyway after a few hiccups , i must say i thoroughly enjoyed the making of her , and my mum loves her to bits
